JOHN TREACY EGAN’s light-hearted, comical style belies a powerhouse voice, capable of hitting the back row with astounding beauty, or intimately sharing some of Broadway’s most precious ballads with an audience of any size. You may have seen him as Max Bialystok in the Broadway production of The Producers, or as Chef Louis in Disney’s The Little Mermaid (a role he created), or perhaps as Joey in Broadway’s Sister Act (another role he created). Other Broadway credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Casa Valentina, & Bye, Bye, Birdie (opposite John Stamos). Off-Broadway audiences have embraced him in shows such as When Pigs Fly, Disaster!, Clinton, & Batboy: The Musical. John performed at Carnegie Hall opposite Nathan Lane & Megan Mullally in Guys and Dolls, & his television credits include appearances on The Good Wife, Younger, The Knick, Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie, 30 Rock, Cupid & Law & Order. His holiday show, On Christmas Morning, is always popular come year’s end.
