After starting his Broadway career as Javert in Les Miserables, he most recently appeared as the Green Goblin in Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark. Among many notable off-Broadway appearances, he received another Outer Critics Circle Award for the hit Kander & Ebb revue, And the World Goes Round, & was critically-acclaimed in Jacques Brel is Alive & Well & Living in Paris. Regional credits include Oklahoma! (Judd), The Secret Garden (Archibald), Funny Girl (Nick), Victor/Victoria (King Marchan), The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp), Guys & Dolls (Sky), The Phantom of the Opera (Phantom), 1776 (John) & a slew of Shakespeare’s most celebrated plays, in addition to having toured the country in Camelot, opposite Richard Burton. His love of the music of the 30’s, 40’s & 50’s led to his debut solo recording, The Look of Love, which includes gorgeous arrangements of standards such as Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart, Witchcraft, For All We Know & I’ve Got You Under My Skin, all tunes which he performs in front of thrilled concert audiences internationally.
