When Broadway’s KELLI RABKE walks onto a stage, the world is a better place. Endlessly cheerful & resiliently kind, her voice explodes with the power of a rocket destined for at least a few of the outer solar systems. Kelli was hand-picked by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber himself to play The Narrator in his musical, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which would become her Broadway debut. She went on to play Eponine in Les Miserables before creating the role of Yonah in Stephen Schwartz’s (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) brilliant musical, Children of Eden. Having enjoyed a luminous career in regional theaters throughout the country, Kelli is also a staple of the New York cabaret world, selling out venues including Feinstein’s/54 Below & many theatre district hot spots. Her career as a guest soloist with symphony orchestras has taken her from Calgary to Mazaltan & all over the U.S. in the highly acclaimed concert, Blockbuster Broadway. She’s debuted new material by Kathie Lee Gifford & David Friedman on The Today Show, & was seen on PBS’s American Songbook series in a special edition called Stephen Schwartz & Friends, in which she memorably performed The Wizard & I from Wicked, with the composer himself at the piano. Kelli’s solo shows include material from the best of Broadway, featuring many of the hits from both Lloyd Webber & Schwartz, including Defying Gravity, Memory, Corner of the Sky, & so many more instantly recognizable classics.
