Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, South Pacific, & The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee are just a few of the Broadway credits that belong to award-winning vocalist, LUCIA SPINA. Her brassy voice is one part Ethel Merman, one part Barbra Streisand, & all parts divine. As she wraps her remarkable vocals around tunes such as New York, New York, Cabaret, I Can Cook, Too, Before The Parade Passes By & You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, audiences in venues both large & small are bowled over by her magnetic way with a lyric. Off-Broadway & regional credits include Sunday in the Park with George (opposite Patti LuPone, Michael Cerveris & Audra McDonald), Fugitive Songs, Silence! The Musical, Anyone Can Whistle, The Full Monty & Lucky Stiff. A staple of the New York cabaret world, you’ll often find Lucia at the hottest venue in town, Feinstein’s/54 Below, where she is a regular cast member of Sondheim Unplugged (celebrating the works of the master). At 54, she also appears regularly in evenings celebrating everyone from Cher to Andrew Lloyd Webber, & Cyndi Lauper to ABBA. You might also recognize her powerhouse vocals from Disney’s Frozen, where she can be heard on the film & soundtrack recording.
